    Job Summary

    The Debtors Supervisor role requires a strong understanding of financial principles to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks. The successful candidate will take on additional responsibilities, participate in key financial projects, and have opportunities for career advancement.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Timely Delivery of Client Documents: Ensure all client documents are delivered promptly.
    2. Verification of Supporting Documents: Verify that all required supporting documents meet client specifications.
    3. Allocation of Payments: Allocate payments efficiently and effectively.
    4. Team Process Supervision: Supervise team processes to ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
    5. Team Management:
      1. Staff Appraisals and Performance Development Plans: Conduct regular staff appraisals and develop Performance Development Plans for underperforming staff.
      2. Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment, selection, and appointment process.
      3. HR and Payroll Submissions: Ensure timely submission of necessary forms to HR and Payroll for staff personal files.
      4. Staff Training and Development: Oversee staff training and development initiatives.
      5. Task Delegation: Delegate tasks to staff and ensure effective management.
      6. Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance as needed.
      7. Code of Conduct and Company Policies: Ensure staff familiarity with the Code of Conduct and Company policies.
      8. Cost Reduction Initiatives: Drive cost reduction initiatives within the team.
      9. Smooth Handover Processes: Facilitate smooth handover processes during staff departures or leaves.
      10. Monthly Meetings: Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with individual staff members and organize monthly team meetings to address issues and encourage staff participation.
      11. Maintenance of Work Area: Maintain a tidy work area for oneself and the team.

    Required Experience and Skills

    A completed Diploma in Accounting or related field is required. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in finance is also necessary.
