Responsibilities:

Develop Procurement Strategies: Formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, including sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor performance.

Vendor Management: Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.

Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and collaborate with production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and costs.

Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function, negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.

Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Assess and mitigate risks related to supplier relationships, market fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, and sales teams, to understand their procurement needs, provide support and guidance, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track procurement metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize procurement processes.

Team Management:Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
