Intercare Corporate Services in Lynnwood, Pretoria, seeks to recruit a Learning & Development Facilitator.


The purpose of the position is design, develop and facilitate learning interventions, utilising a variety of learning methodologies to build knowledge, skills and competencies that enhance individual performance and organisational-wide competence.


CRITICAL OUTPUTS
Assist with the establishment of a "Learning, Development, and Performance" culture.

  • Assist with implementing the Group Learning and Development Strategy aligned with business goals and supported by the Performance Management System.
  • Develop excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Facilitate learning interventions aligned with the learning and development strategy.

  • Assist with the continuous implementation of the organisational onboarding program and associated initiatives.
  • Deliver learning events, interventions and programmes aligned to business and learning needs.
  • Develop, publish, and edit organisationspecific technical content within the Learning Management System.
  • Develop, publish, and edit organisationspecific behavioural content within the Learning Management System.
  • Adapt the facilitation approach to meet various learning styles within any learning group to maximise the learning experience.
  • Communicate and coordinate all logistics, requirements and tools to relevant internal and external stakeholders and service providers to ensure learning interventions run smoothly.
Conduct Learning and Development administration, reporting and quality assurance.

  • Assist in maintaining the online Learning Management System ("LMS"), and manage access and enrolments.
  • Recommend and stay up to date on emerging technologies and LMS trends.
  • Collaborate with employees to clarify any technical issues with learning trends.
  • Provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders on the content, implementation, uptake and landing of learning events aligned to the desired learning outcomes.
  • Gather evaluation and feedback on learning interventions and compile relevant reports.
  • Identify and deliver postlearning initiatives to continually embed learning to enhance the learning process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A good command of grammar and vocabulary.
  • The ability to express instructions clearly and briefly in simple language.
  • A concern for verbal consistency and an appreciation of the company's tone and style.
  • Theoretical and practical comprehension of adult learning theories
  • Ability to interpret and bridge the connection between current and desired performance.
  • Ability to consider the link between frontline performance to desired business objectives.
  • Skilled in instructional design and learning technologies and willing to further these skills toward expertise.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to gather information effectively.
  • An ability to grasp and structure large amounts of information and anticipate knowledge gaps.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Analytical and questioning skills to get information from experts.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
  • OD-ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education Training Development Practice) level 5 certification.
  • 3 5 Years of learning facilitation experience (Advantageous).
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Learning and Development or a related field.
  • Skilled in instructional design and learning technologies and willing to further these skills toward expertise.
