    Senior Geotechnical Engineer

    Our esteemed client, a prominent multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Geotechnical Engineer to bolster their Johannesburg team. This role is pivotal in providing specialized geotechnical engineering expertise across diverse projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough geotechnical investigations, site assessments, and feasibility studies to evaluate ground conditions.
    • Prepare meticulous geotechnical reports with insightful interpretations of site investigations.
    • Execute geotechnical analyses using cutting-edge software and methodologies.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

    Requirements:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Possess Professional Engineer registration with the ECSA or eligibility to obtain such registration.
    • Bring 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on the Transport sector.
    • Demonstrate a solid grasp of soil and rock mechanics.
