Description

A luxury hotel nestled in the heart of the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town, is looking to hire 2 Floor Supervisors who ensure their guests receive world-class service, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene and order in the guest rooms.

As a Floor Supervisor, you will supervise the day-to-day activities of the general attendants responsible for servicing the guest bedrooms.

You will also control daily guest amenity stock, conduct daily room inspections and
ensure the maximum guest satisfaction by providing a safe, clean and comfortable guest bedroom space.


Responsible for ensuring the execution of any additional guest requests that may occur during shift.

Requirements:

Matric
Work across multiple functions, guest rooms and front of house (e.g. public areas, passages, lifts, rest
rooms, lobby, gym and spa)
Proven track record of relevant experience in a 4* hotel or equivalent environment with experience in a similar
supervisory role is essential.


Competencies:


  • Neat and professional.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Supervise the daily cleaning of guest bedrooms
  • Supervise the cleaning of public areas, lifts and lounges
  • Supervise the deep cleaning of areas where needed
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies
  • Supervise the handling and storing of cleaning materials and equipment
  • Supervise and handle waste
  • Maintain personal hygiene and a professional appearance
  • Product knowledge of hotel and city.
