Job Purpose

To perform analysis and on new product development opportunities in order to build new products that will create new revenue streams for the bank

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal and external teams to define, develop, test, pilot and launch new customer centric products for the bank.
Ownership of the business and technical solution.
Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Communicate solutions and ideas to stakeholders through meetings, presentations, and documents.
Provide meaningful recommendations, explanations and highlights of concerns or anomalies by analysing and interrogating information.
Manage risks by adhering to internal and external guidelines/policies/procedures/business rules/ compliance and governance requirements.
Define business requirements (features and user stories) for development.
Prioritise business requirements (features and user stories) by value.
Identify business problems by analysing data and reports from various sources.
Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values
Contribute to a culture conductive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g. Green Strategy).
Contribute to intellectual capital development by providing continuous motivation; mentoring; coaching and on the job skills training.
Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.

Bachelor of Engineering.
SAFe 4 Agile Certification preferred
Agile Product Owner would be an advantage
