- Evaluate and present applications for funding and structure deals that contribute to unit objectives and industry development goals.
- Perform financial and/or technical and/or marketing due diligence functions and ensure risk identification and mitigation.
- Manage and enhance the levels of service and communication to ensure the provision of client service excellence.
- Liaise, communicate, and promote the unit externally.
- Minimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical Honours Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 5-8 years related experience of which 2-3 years should be in assessment as well as closing of transactions.
- Declared competent in two due diligence disciplines (Marketing, Technical or Financial).
- Grounded in one of the above due diligence disciplines.
- Experience in interpretation of financial statements.
- Sector-specific knowledge would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of financial products as used by the organization.
- Financial acumen.
