Description
We are a growing Hotel Group seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Gauteng.Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
Staffs and directs the regional sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the sales area. Manages the development of training and educational programs for sales executives.- Recruits, tests and selects quality sales staff based on criteria agreed upon by all stakeholders.
- Equipping sales staff with the necessary tools.
- Assigning sales staff functions and expectations.
- Insures that all Sales Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Development and training of the sales team.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Developing compensation packages.
- Controls and administers fuel claims, log books, sales reports, marketing collateral orders and the centralised database (Goldmine) - accurate records of activity reports by Sales Executives.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Conducts one-on-one reviews with all Sales Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales
