    Job Description

    As a Global Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and inventory management functions of our organization. Your primary goal will be to ensure that goods are delivered efficiently and effectively to our customers while minimizing costs and maximizing profitability.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in supply chain management, with expertise in logistics, transportation, and inventory control. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
    • Oversee logistics and transportation operations, including warehousing, freight management, and delivery services
    • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a senior role
    • Proven track record of success in logistics, transportation, and inventory control
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
    • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

    Salary and Benefits

    The salary for this position is approximately R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include medical aid, retirement fund contributions, and annual leave.
