Your Role

Supervisory functions

Manage all supervisory functions within the Warehouse
Ensure security in the warehouse area

Stock Responsibility

Sign off daily cycle counting and annual stock take
Sign off reconcile variances with Stock Supervisor and Divisional Logistics Manager
Physical responsibility of receiving, storage and dispatching of stock

System Reporting

Performance Reporting
Statistics reporting / Management reports
Consolidate reports from Supervisors
Keep abreast of SAP and Microsoft Office skills

People Management

Manage staff performance i.e., set Variable Compensation (VC) targets (performance standards and indicators) for Warehouse employees. Conduct annual performance appraisals and training needs analysis of personnel
Manage leave approvals, overtime and standby for Warehouse personnel
Create a positive working environment where employees feel motivated
Staff discipline, when required
Recruitment

SHEQ Compliance

Manage IMS its procedures, process reviews & updates and quality of packaging and labels
Ensure 5S / housekeeping standards are maintained in the Yard
Responsible as SHEQ custodian in the Warehouse
Report incidents
Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
Preventative Action Requests (PAR)
Comply with International Standards Organisation (ISO) certifications
Prepare for audits

Qualification in Warehouse Management
Computer skills - MS Office, Outlook, SAP Diploma Warehouse Management
Previous experience in Distribution Centre / warehouse management.
At least 5 years supervisory experience Warehouse Management
Receiving & Dispatching
Forklift operation
People supervision
Housekeeping
Stock Control
