Junior Buyers Administrator


During your training, you will learn how to understand merchandise trends, interpret Clients needs and construct merchandise collections that successfully deliver their business strategies.


To succeed in this role you will need to:

Requirements:

3-year Tertiary Fashion Qualification in the Fashion Buying, Clothing Management, Fashion Design or Retail Management faculty:


  • We will consider qualifications out of Retail or Fashion if you are passionate about fashion:
  • Strong understanding of retail, retail operations and the cycle of stock from supplier to store
  • A strong desire to serve and meet targets
  • A multitasking animal
  • High personal & business ethics.


  • Basic

  • Intermediate proficiency on Excel
  • Able to thrive and keep up in a fastpaced environment

Role:


To support the Category Specialist, Buyers, Buyers Assistants and the Planning team in the development of focused merchandise collections, briefing our suppliers and serving our Clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Photographing of samples for suppliers and for catalogues
  • Put together catalogues of samples.
  • Tagging, Labelling & filing samples.
  • Prepare packaging for samples
  • Assist in briefing suppliers.
  • Support the buying and planning team on annual Retail Head Office client meetings
  • Prepare the room for client meetings
  • Checking & signing off on QA.
  • Working with the retail best sellers
  • Doing the groundwork for developing collections for Clients.
  • Assist Category Specialist with post seasonal analysis.
  • Publishing planograms.
  • Preparing for meetings & presentations to clients.
  • Data capturing on Excel
  • Adhoc projects
