- To drive sales growth, build customer loyalty, and meet sales, profit, and compliance targets, contributing to a competitive brand advantage.
- Maximise sales through promotional activities, cross-selling, up-selling, and superior customer service across the store team.
- Efficiently execute operational activities, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, housekeeping, and administration.
- Ensure in-store visual merchandising meets brand standards and maintains a consistent appearance.
- Motivate and direct staff to achieve targets and performance goals, effectively managing teams in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Maintain work schedules daily, adhering to the Group's labour policy and relevant labour model.
- Execute customer service initiatives resulting in excellent customer experiences, loyalty, and club card participation.
- Attend to administrative responsibilities efficiently, including time and attendance records and employee submissions.
- Live and drive company values to achieve the Group's vision as the customers' first choice health and beauty retailer.
- Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%) or equivalent qualification.
- Desirable: Degree in Retail/Business Management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in assistant store management within a retail/FMCG environment or successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme.
- Financial management experience, including budgets, financial statements, and ratios.
- Understanding and application of financial management principles.
- Retail background with knowledge of merchandising and promotions.
