    Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

    Our client in the FMCG/ Manufacturing Industry is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure that assigned production lines meet and exceed quality standards.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Perform quality control checks and generate reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
    2. Compile QC reports and checklists, and maintain accurate records of inspection results.
    3. Conduct sensory evaluations on incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and inform product improvements.
    4. Regularly inspect equipment for sanitation and integrity, and report any issues to management.
    5. Monitor shelf life and temperatures for raw materials, and perform preoperational checks for hygiene and quality standards.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Matric degree in Food Science or relevant field.
    • At least 1-3 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry, with practical experience supervising teams in quality control/assurance, hygiene, health, and standards.
    • Knowledge of food safety principles, HACCP implementation, line inspections, and housekeeping is advantageous.
    • Basic computer literacy skills and strong communication abilities are essential.
