The Senior Associate Health, Safety, and Environmental Administrator has the primary responsibility to support the implementation of the ISO Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, and ensure health and safety conditions, are statutory complaint within the work environment to prevent harm, injury and illness.

This role works closely with a HSE Team and with a variety of stakeholders to institute control and remedial measures on behalf of NTT DATA.


The Senior Associate Health, Safety, and Environmental administrator supports the analysis and design controls for the prevention of occupational diseases, manages the risk related to the environment and related incident management.


Working at NTT

Key Roles and Responsibilities:


  • ISO Integrated management System (IMS), strategic implementation and management.
  • Documentation and record management
  • Implementation of systems, and processes in compliance to ISO Integrated management System (IMS)
  • Train Employees / Departments on the IMS management system.
  • Implementation, monitoring and reporting on objectives and targets
  • Report on Geographical, Country, Facilities, Data centres, warehouses, Projects, and Services Compliance Performance
  • Establish Team Audit Programs, plan, monitoring implementation and reporting on performance.
  • Data Capturing and reporting on audit findings.
  • Raise NCR's/CAR's based on Audit findings and report on performance
  • Capture incident investigation Data, rout cause analysis data and Report on trends.
  • Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental Structure Identified, appointment letters issued, Training arranged, and reporting on performance.
  • Ensure PPE orders, Distribution, replacement, are conducted in accordance with the approved Procedures.
  • Dealing with the Department of Labour enquiries, visits, audits and meetings.
  • Record, track, and report on IOD's, claim submissions and closure of claims.
  • Establish and set training requirements, per job descriptions, coordinate, and support (internal, external, and generic) training throughout the organisation
  • Maintaining and oversee updates on Acts, policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Responsible for driving Clinic and arranging yearly medicals for staff.
  • Liaising with HOD's and section leaders to resolve disputes regarding Health & Safety, Environment.
  • Assisting with Environmental Audits & policies.
  • Reminding the manager/executives of important tasks and deadlines
  • Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations, correspondence and minutes of meetings.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
  • Develop, maintain all ISO IMS HSE Platforms and communication follow suite.
  • Ensure Internal, and External Communication transpire as per ISO IMS.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:


  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable laws, regulations and other legal regulations that govern environment, health and safety in the workplace.
  • Display influencing ability and interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display planning, organizing and problemsolving ability.
  • Attention to detail and display the ability to collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:


  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and/or experience
  • Relevant Health, Safety and Environmental certification(s)
  • Experience in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or ISO 9001

Required Experience:


  • Strong to moderate experience in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, HSE Management System Software.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with environment, health and safety issues in a related industry / environment
  • Moderate level of experience dealing with a variety of stakeholders and influencing decision making to manage business risk.
  • Moderate level of experience dealing with legislators and governing bodies
