Deputy Hotel General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Hotel General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our hotel. This role also involves additional responsibilities in managing food and beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Hotel General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the hotel, including sales and marketing, housekeeping, front desk operations, and food and beverage management.
Manage budgets and maintain quality standards and records for all hotel operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and agreed-upon quality and best-practice guidelines.
Train and develop the hotel team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Resolve customer queries and manage expectations effectively.

Requirements

Hospitality degree or equivalent experience.
Fluent in English (and Afrikaans).
A minimum of five years' experience in the Food and Beverage Industry.
Proven track record of leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a hotel service team.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
Good conflict management and problem-solving skills.
Integrity and honesty.
Ability to work under pressure.
