    Our Organization is searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel.

    Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease.

    laundry attendant Responsibilities Lubricates machines, mends torn articles, and sorts and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry listsAttend service desk with heavy customer serviceSorts clean towels, rugs and robesOperates and maintains folding equipmentGathers and launders soiled pool towelsSort out and remove stained, torn, frayed, or unsightly linen and terryMaintain laundry area in a clean and orderly mannerMaintain housekeeping and customer service standards by ensuring that towels, sheets and linens are cleaned, ironed (if necessary)Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerManeuver laundry cart with linen up to 400lbsLaundry Attendant Requirements and QualificationsThe ability to communicate in English is preferredAbility to lift heavy bags of laundry, stand, and remain active throughout a normal shiftFriendly, personable demeanor and professional appearanceBasic cash handling skillsReads, writes, and speaks basic EnglishExcellent oral and written communication skills to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and interact effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guestsAbility to assist co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
