    Duties and Responsibilities

    Sales Strategy Development

    • Develop a sales strategy in line with company objectives
    • Plan and execute business plans to achieve set targets
    • Identify and mitigate risks through thorough analysis of market trends and competitor intelligence
    • Manage the offline and online business of customers, ensuring seamless execution of marketing strategies

    Creative Business Growth

    • Develop innovative solutions to grow the business with customers
    • Provide strategic guidance to management on challenges faced
    • Nurture relationships with corporate contacts and stakeholders
    • Assist in preparing contractual agreements and ensure timely fulfillment

    Accurate Forecasting and Planning

    • Ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand
    • Maintain accurate forecasting aligned with sales planning
    • Continuously improve forecasting techniques and methods to align with company objectives
    • Calculate weekly sell-out forecasts based on data analysis and stakeholder input

    Budget Management and Control

    • Ensure return on investment and long-term brand sustainability
    • Deliver on income targets within set budgets
    • Solve complex problems and manage risk to achieve set targets

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
    • Build trust and partnership with customers to drive growth
    • Regularly visit customers to assess their needs and preferences

    Reporting and Analysis

    • Provide regular sales reports and analysis
    • Prepare presentations, proposals, and plans as required

    Desired Experience and Qualifications

    Required Experience

    • 5-7 years of experience in key account management
    • Previous experience in dealing with mass retail in South Africa
    • Strong knowledge of administration, sales, and general warehouse procedures
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven track record in customer relations and communication
    • Advanced MS Office skills
    • Able to use database for recording and reporting
    • Channel partner relationship knowledge and finance management skills

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
    • Accounting skills are advantageous
    • Will be required to travel to customers regularly
