As a global leader in developing and offering innovative products and services that drive organizational value and deliver impact, ADEC Innovations has created a new position, Marketing Operations Director, to provide marketing support to the four ADEC Innovations business areas and their respective solutions and practices; develop, implement, and share best marketing and communications tools and practices; and ensure consistency and adherence to the organization's Brand Guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tools, Technologies & Process

  • Stay up to date on marketing automation tools, communication platforms and other technologies.
  • Review marketing processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency through technology and other means.
  • Keep up on the latest trends and technologies to continuously improve the internal and external user experience.
  • If needed, recommend the need for external vendor support for implementation / overall support and run the RFP process. Once in place, manage relationships with any external vendors providing services implementing or supporting external technologies.
Best Practices/Standards

  • Support and train personnel and make sure they are able to follow technology, process, and Brand standards.
  • Oversee website optimization and testing, methodology and analysis to lift key digital success metrics, including engagement and conversion rates.
  • Support the overall ADEC Innovations portfolio and each business to achieve high SEO rankings for key search terms.
  • Continuously review the various digital properties to ensure best practice site experience, continuity, authenticity, and Brand are in place.
  • Maximize digital results by ensuring best practices in web design (UI/UX), digital conversion/lead generation, digital campaigns, social media management, and other digital areas are embedded in the company's processes and portfolio of digital properties.
  • Ideate and refine tactics for improving lead conversion rates, purchase rates, cart abandon rates, average order value, repurchase, etc.
Cross-Company Metrics Management

  • Monitor business activities and performance across the ADEC Innovations portfolio of brands and businesses; track key performance indicators.
  • Analyze data, assess trends, and recommend actions to optimize performance and provide regular, accurate, timely reports for executive team; regularly reports progress against goals and analysis of what went well and what could be improved.
Management & Cross Functional Discipline

  • Oversee the tactical creative and digital team to ensure adherence to schedule and priorities.
  • Liaise closely with Sales/Business Development team to ensure they are tracking necessary activities and results in common systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing leads to ensure alignment on the overall brand and marketing strategies and tactics.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree, MBA/Graduate degree a plus.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in digital marketing and 2 years in marketing automation
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Must understand how marketing technology and processes work together and affect each other.
  • Expertise in assessing marketing processes and finding ways to improve results, efficiency or quality of work.
  • Skilled in developing marketing strategies while incorporating technology solutions.
  • Ability to set and meet goals, timelines and budgets.
  • Strong familiarity with communication platforms, automation tools and other technologies.
  • Be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating ideas and strategies; amazing listening skills to fully grasp the needs of internal and external clients.
  • Holistic thinking for finding connections between different processes.
  • Interdisciplinary mindset for combining marketing and technology knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • Problemsolving approach that values research and data analysis.
