Description

We are looking to fill a vacancy of Youth Transitions Facilitator in our Youth Development Programme, which focuses specifically on young people 16-23 who have grown up in Child and Youth Care Centres.

Key responsibilities include

To offer transitional support to young people aged 16 23, who have grown up in Alternative Care (Child and Youth Care Centres (CYCC's) and Foster Care).
To provide ongoing individual oneonone mentoring and support to young people in preparation for their transition and after they leave care.
To plan facilitate monthly experiential group sessions, wilderness processes and camps.
To facilitate practical support, assisting young people to access further education, accommodation, skills training and job placement as part of supporting a successful transition from Alternative Care.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
