Our client seeks an experienced credit control


Job functions

  • Carefully and accurately verify and process all creditor invoices
  • Ensure all invoices are duly authorized
  • Issuing of purchase orders
  • GRN of stock
  • Prepare recons for all stock creditors
  • Preparing & loading of payments on banking apps daily, weekly & monthly
  • Capture and close payments on accounting system
  • Intercompany invoicing
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of payments
  • Effective preparation of creditor reconciliations to meet payment deadlines
  • Effective creditor document processing
  • Ensure that all payment obligations are met timeously
  • Assist with creditors account queries
  • Capturing and Reconciliations of petty cash
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum Grade 1 23 years proven experience as Creditors Clerk
  • Finance qualification or equivalent added advantage


  • Computer Literate

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Pastel Accounting
  • Invoicing, Creditors & Cashbook Experience
  • Strong Reconciliations skills
  • Accuracy & Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to do so

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R14 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Westville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
