    Job Description:

    A key member of our accounting team, responsible for maintaining and balancing financial records. The successful candidate will have a strong background in debtor and creditor management, as well as experience with Xero accounting software and Excel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Debtors Management: Invoicing, account reconciliations, collections, and credit control are all critical components of this role.
    • Creditors Management: Processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payment cycles require attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Accounting to Trial Balance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records is essential for informed decision-making.
    • Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations, is a key aspect of this role.
    • Support to the Development Team: Providing timely and accurate financial information is crucial for project planning and decision-making.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years in a similar accounting role, specifically in debtor and creditor management and maintaining accounts to trial balance.
    • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of Xero accounting software and Excel is required.
    • Strong ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure environments.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
