Delaire Graff Estate is looking for a Junior Logistics and Cellar Administrator who will be responsible for the administrative support of the Winemaker and Logistics department.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • All administrative processes for the Winemaker, including wine audits, ordering of cellar consumables, inventory control in cellar, handling wine sampling and documentation and other light cellar duties.
  • Logistics administration, including but not limited to:
  • The storage of wine, stock take and stock control (On and Off site including Estate outlets);
  • Assisting with the planning and scheduling of labelling to ensure availability of stock including relevant administration (pink cards/ SAWIS/IPW admin and audit);
  • Assisting with the management of the dry goods stock: processing orders, liaising with suppliers, drawing up effective production schedules, coordinating the procurement of the necessary dry goods;
  • Assisting with the managing, track and coordinate export/logistic process (local & international shipments);
  • Preparing documentation and administration relating to export and domestic shipments (Wine online documentation/ SAWIS documentation);
  • Logistics administration (including transfer of stocks between warehouses, delivery notes and relevant documentation) along with courier and freight forwarder agents;
  • Sending samples, loading of consignments and completing the associated administration;

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • 12 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer & organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills ability to liaise at all levels
  • Skilled and licensed forklift driver will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of wine online, SAWIS documentation and IPW admin and audit will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of export regulations and freight forwarder experience with laboratory samples submission will be an advantage
