- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, with an overall 15 years in the technology domain, inclusive of development.
- Proven experience managing SOC & Security teams.
- Deep expertise in the Microsoft estate, including tools like Defender, Sentinel, MS 365 licensing, firewall management, and Azure security services.
- Demonstrable experience in managing security roadmaps, vendor relations, and project delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with senior leadership and technical teams alike.
- Coding Capabilities in at least one programming or scripting language like PowerShell would be advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks via Azure CLI.

This HEAD OF CYBER SECURITY will be based in CAPE TOWN and is offering R1.3m CTC p/a.

THE ROLE:
This HEAD OF CYBESECURITY role is perfect for a Cyber Security Manager who has a track record in developing, maintain, and implement Cyber Security roadmap, as well as leading SOC & security teams and being hands on with technical challenges when necessary.
You will be required to ensure successful delivery of the cybersecurity programme, oversee the reporting of cyber security MI to both regional and Group senior teams. Responsible for Incident Responses, Training Compliance, Vendor Performance, Risk Management & Project Delivery.
