Purpose:

The purpose is to ensure that the exports team is assisted in all areas of documentations and aligned with the team's objectives.

Enforcing timeframes of documentation submissions and filing and customs acquittals are updated to the company's internal drive.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 with tertiary qualification or freight forwarding would be advantageous
Knowledge of legislative requirements within SA Wine Industry
Custom compliance qualification and recent customs experience would be advantageous
Computer literacy
Good administrative and organisational abilities

Skills Required:

Customer Service environment experience
Computer literacy

and experience in excel would be advantageous

Ethical business practice understanding
Wellspoken and ability to communicate verbally and through written communication

Job Summary:

Assisting the team with export documentation and processes e.g export certificates, notification and declaration of loading.
Completing SAD500's, SADC certificates, EUR.1 certificates
Crosschecking loading documents sent to KWV loading warehouse
Ensuring International files are handed over for closure within departmental timelines
Checking handover files ensuring it contains all documentation
Uploading all documentation to companies internal drive for customs acquittals
Crosschecking departmental files for filing purposes
Keeping the team up to date with stacks dates, vessels departures, courier and customs deadlines.
Liaising with Customs and Excise team with regards to acquittals
Obtaining outstanding documentation from customers and external parties
