What you will be doing;


The purpose of this position is to manage, design and deliver projects for transitioning new business and Business Improvement for existing clients.


  • 1. Project Management
  • Leads projects within a programme or independently manage projects, typically of high risk and complexity
  • Assists with programme scope
  • Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting problems and risks/issues
  • Supports the project sponsor in delivering the benefits declared for the project
  • Manages all aspects of the project, which will typically include managing multiple groups of staff, contractors and third party suppliers
  • Liaises with all stakeholders including clients on the day to day aspects of the project
  • Contributes to bids for new contracts with either new or existing clients, with responsibility for producing cost models and plans for delivering the proposed solutions.
  • Completes project closure activities including retrospective reviews for continuous improvement
  • 2. Project Office
  • Manages and delivers large changes and projects by actively engaging with the Merchants PMO ito project methodology and use the specified methodology in managing the project.
  • Assumes accountability for the success of engagements, ensuring that services provided are integrated
  • Provides input into budget allocations
  • Delivers projects to agreed scope, time, budget, quality standards and client satisfaction
  • 3. Stakeholder Management
  • Identifies key stakeholders in current and future consulting opportunities to ensure the appropriate level of interaction and decisionmaking
  • Devises communication processes for stakeholder groups to ensure stakeholder expectations are met
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients.

Knowledge

  • 3 years complex project management experience in the IT work stream.
  • Experience with call centre technology
  • Proven project management and consultancy delivery
