JOB SUMMARY:


Main Purpose of Position:

The main purpose of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to plan, develop and execute digital programmes and campaigns including online advertising, website strategy, social media, and mobile deliverables, providing assistance to the Marketing Team to manage various online platforms and drive traffic, create leads, encourage engagement, retain customers and ultimately deliver sales, ensure that all digital platforms pertaining to the business are optimized and kept up to date with all the current digital management tools.


A key component aspect of the position is being able to develop, launch and manage new campaigns that promote the business and services to defined target audiences, as well as the ability to manage workflow and work alongside external or internal creative teams.





RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
KPA PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Managing company websites

  • Ensure content on all company sites is kept uptodate, relevant, and accurate.
  • Ensure that the content of all sites is wellstructured and easy to find from a UX perspective.
  • Liaise with all role players: Vendors, Brand managers, Service providers, and the Marketing team.
  • Assist with content management for the company websites.
  • Keep copy up to date and create new content at appropriate times. Company social media
  • Developing creative and engaging social media content and posts for the brands.
  • Set up PPC campaigns and manage allocated budgets for social media activities.
  • Managing the daytoday handling of all channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube adapting content to suit the different channels Digital Campaigns
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs.
  • Keep a project sheet for all campaigns.
  • Utilise strategic media partners for the breadth and effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  • Manage PPC campaigns and budgets effectively.
  • Assist with setup and registration.
  • Manage lead generation campaigns for the business and brands.

  • Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention across all online marketing mediums.
  • Provide creative ideas for lead generation, lead qualification, communication, brand awareness, and engagement.

  • Demonstrated ability towards business intelligence.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver multiple assignments effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Marketing Diploma or BCom Marketing Degree and or relevant Diploma with Online/Digital media as a major Minimum Experience:
  • At least 2-3 Years' experience in digital marketing.
