  • The main purpose of this position is to assist and support the Operations Manager with the day to day management of the asset and all required functions within the operational scope of duties.

The Duty Manager's hours are 16h00 to 00h00 during the week and a minimum of two weekends per month.

:


  • Facilities management diploma (advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a facilities management role

DUTIES:

Technical services and equipment:
- checks and ensures all technical services and equipment are in work order


Soft services:

  • Manages performance of all appointed service providers in line with the approved SLA and agreed KPI's
  • Building maintenance and projects:
  • Manage various projects on site in line with required legislation, standards and approved project plans
  • Ensure efficient maintenance is done by maintenance technicians and recording and sign on My Buildings is actioned.

Utilities Management:

  • Ensure that all related equipment and systems are in order to ensure efficiency
  • Monitor and manage the utility process to maintain efficiency of utilities within the building and with tenants

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensures compliance with all required regulations and standards
  • Controls, manages and governs the processes and systems with area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimise the business risk

After hours:

  • Ensures that all service providers are on site and performing their duties well.
  • Takes control of any emergency situations (Evacuations, fire, bomb etc.)
  • Ensures generators are operational during loadshedding after hours
