Technical Business Analyst (Contract and Permanent)

Intermediate-Senior role available on-site in JHB with flexible working hours.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst/Developer who possesses a strong logical mindset, systematic approach to problem-solving, and passion for delivering high-quality solutions while driving innovation.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in technical investigations. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with team members throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including post-implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery, from gathering business requirements to managing post-implementation aspects.
Document processes and business rules accurately, ensuring alignment with the delivery strategy.
Analyze business needs and gather requirements to ensure they meet necessary standards.
Identify, track, report, and resolve issues through proactive root cause analysis.
Demonstrate exceptional project management skills by consistently delivering high-quality services that adhere to project standards.

Required Experience & Skills:

SQL: 5+ years of experience.
Unix/Linux Operating Systems: 3+ years of hands-on experience.
Business Analysis: 3-5 years of experience, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
Production Support: Expertise in investigations, log file analysis, and root cause analysis is essential.
Reconciliations: Basic understanding required.
Windows and MS Office Tools: Proficiency in Excel and Notepad++.
Application Support & Investigations: Essential experience.
Reporting Tools: Power BI or similar tools experience preferred.
Project/Time Management: Strong organizational skills are mandatory.
