Cape Town opportunity in a creative, innovative and entrepreneurial environment
The Craft + Design Institute (CDI) requires the services of an experienced and pioneering information management practitioner to drive the organisation's information strategy to enable the CDI to report effectively on outputs, outcomes and impact.
Develop and execute an organisational information management strategy
Manage and implement the M&E requirements of key projects
Ensure the effective collection, storage, organisation and utilisation of data and information to support decision making, reporting and achieving strategic outcomes
Ensure data quality, compliance and the ability to measure and report on the organisation's impact
Manage staff and budgets related to this function
You will need:
A tertiary qualification in information management, data science, business analytics or a related field, with at least 3-5 years relevant working experience in information management, data governance and reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of relevant data protection and privacy regulations
Proficiency in data management and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work under pressure and be deadline-driven
To be a quick and willing learner and a sensitive individual with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a team and on your own.
