Lead Technical Architect ServiceNow, South Africa Or Madrid Or UK Or India


Position Purpose:


This IT professional represents all key business and IT stakeholders in maximising ROI on the ServiceNow platform through establishing an enterprise-wide technical architecture and implementation strategy setting the foundation for enduring success.

Will manage the relationships with the Business, IT stakeholders, Process Owners and the vendors contracted to work on or integrated with ServiceNow.


Major/Key Accountabilities:

  • Clearly understands the strategic direction and vision of the ServiceNow solution and expresses it as a Product Backlog (roadmap)
  • Define architectural solution vision, technical roadmap and growth opportunities (including the reduction of technical debt)
  • Drive prioritization of the solution innovation with a focus on delivering business value which provides a competitive advantage
  • Works with the Product Owner to prioritise the product backlog for new features, defects, technical debris and technical innovation
  • Focus is primarily on enabling innovations through the existing contract and future opportunities
  • Able to prioritize workload and tasks within the broader context of the digital deliverables specifically working closely with Product Owner and Development Team
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Manage the relationship between the internal ServiceNow team and the Development partner; leading and driving them to focus on value delivery; ensuring that the workflow is consistent, understood and delivered timeously
  • Where necessary, perform the role of Business Analyst, Project Manager to ensure continuous workflow
  • Is an advocate of the Agile principles and practices within the organization
  • Institute technical governance to optimize platform performance and minimize longterm technical risk.
  • Drives rapid upgrades to new features and innovation that drive new value.
  • Support in building a platform team focused on delivering value and innovation.
  • Drives endtoend solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform while adhering to best practices and industry standards
  • Architect and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Define data models, data sources, and data transformation processes to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange.

Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications : 3 year degree / diploma

Desirable Qualifications :
ServiceNow certification(s), such as ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

ITIL 4 and SIAM


Experience:

  • Overall years of ServiceNow and 2+ years of technical leadership experience
