Description
**Duties:
- *
  • Participate in teaching and practical duties within the histology and embryology division in the School of Anatomical Sciences
  • Participate in research in any field related to cell/developmental biology in particular or Anatomical Sciences in general.
  • Serve on Faculty and University committees as necessary
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research
  • Participate in programme administrations, reviews and accreditation processes
  • Participate in course development and design, curriculum planning and development in a blended learning environment
  • Participate in developing suitable assessment questions

Requirements and experience:
-


  • A health professional degree with specialist qualification or a MSc or equivalent in an appropriate discipline completed or PhD nearing completion.
  • Research experience in cell biology will be an advantage.
  • A DOHET/ISIaccredited publication in histology and/or embryology or submission of a manuscript which demonstrates an ongoing scholarly ability.
  • Teaching experience at undergraduate level and/or postgraduate level, with participation in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Academic administrative experience and membership of any relevant academic committees.
  • An active membership with an Academic Society related to Anatomical Sciences
  • A postgraduate qualification in Health Sciences Education would be an advantage.
