Business Development Specialist

Boksburg or Edenvale, South Africa

R 25 000 - R 35 000 per month + commission (dependent on industry knowledge and experience)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist with a technical background in electronic security products or electrical engineering to spearhead the expansion of our business development portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement and achieving sales targets.

Requirements:

Must have matric certificate
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (advantageous)
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical sales role within the electronic security or electrical or similar industries
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in sales, business development, and client relationship management
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking abilities
Research and strategy acumen is essential
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Must have a valid driver's license and own transport
Exceptional strategic planning and organizational capabilities, with attention to detail
An independent, proactive initiator with a hands-on approach to business
