    About the Role

    • As a Pricing Strategist at Calandria Labour, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage cost data to ensure accurate pricing and competitive positioning.
    • You will collaborate closely with our sales, procurement, and finance teams to align pricing strategies and provide valuable insights for price adjustments based on market trends.
    • Your analytical skills will be pivotal in preparing reports and presentations to support decision-making.
    • You will also analyze industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors' pricing data to identify opportunities for growth.
    • In addition, you will develop measurement tools to track changing market trends and make informed decisions accordingly.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and manage cost data for accurate pricing and competitive positioning.
    • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and finance teams to align pricing strategies.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for price adjustments based on market trends.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to assist in decision-making.
    • Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors and report data to decision-makers.
    • Identify marketing strategies to increase profits.
    • Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends.
    • Coordinate and Track shipments.
    • Communicate shipment status to relevant stakeholders.
    • Additional administrative tasks as required.

    Requirements

    • A Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Tertiary Qualification in International Trade would be advantageous.
    • Prior experience in international trade, specifically within the tyre industry.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for dealing with clients and suppliers.
    • Previous Import & Export Experience.
