    Description

    Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

    The following are the key accountabilities and decision ownership responsibilities:

    • Market Research
      1. Understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points
      2. Conduct deep research and gain a thorough understanding of what motivates customers to choose one proposition over another (including Focus Groups and Secondary Data)
      3. Gather data on market trends, competitor propositions, and industry dynamics
    • Value Proposition Design
      1. Design a value proposition based on customer insights and needs
      2. Define the benefits and advantages of the proposition
      3. Create unique differentiation for the proposition
    • Market Testing
      1. Test the proposition in the market with customers
      2. Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) studies and fine-tune the proposition as needed
      3. Support market development and assist sales in selling the first few units in the market
    • GTM Design
      1. Work with sales to define channels to market
      2. Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive demand
      3. Be responsible for revenue and market share growth of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME) segment
      4. Collaborate with industry vertical leads and teams to unlock growth in scaling industries and/or strategic accounts
      5. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, and manage partnerships related to segment growth

      • Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management: Must have the ability to influence and challenge decisions
      • Business Acumen and Data-Driven Approach
      • Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
      • In-depth Understanding of Segmentation Strategies and Proposition Management
      • Demonstrated Ability to Lead Cross-Functional Teams

      Technical/Professional Qualifications

      The following technical/professional qualifications are required:

      • Matric
      • 3-Year Business Degree or Related Industry
      • Business Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma (an advantage)
      • 5-8 Years of Experience in B2B Product Management, Client Value Management, or Segment Marketing
      • ICT or Financial Services Experience Essential
