    Description

    Dis-Chem is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Clinic Sister to manage and operate a profitable, Primary Health Care Clinic in Cape Town.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform Clinic Sister duties according to industry regulations and best practices.
    • Manage the clinic's operations, including patient flow and service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of patient details and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
    • Process claims accurately and timeously according to industry standards.
    • Ensure all stock and equipment in the clinic are in good working condition.
    • Build and maintain healthy relationships with patients, staff, medical aids, suppliers, and community stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 Matric
    • Tertiary qualification in General Nursing or Diploma in Midwifery
    • Registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
    • Nursing practitioner registration with BHF
    • 2-3 years experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years practicing as a Primary Health Care Sister
    • Patient Record System & CKS & Allegra experience

    Competencies:

    • Knowledge of community health nursing, primary health care, and occupational health nursing
    • Strong command of English (written and oral)
    • Understand financial implications of meeting or not meeting set targets
    • Emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial flair

    Working Conditions:

    • Willingness to work retail hours
    • Physically fit and healthy
    • Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
