    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering and troubleshooting complex systems, including VMWare, e-directory, Active Directory, LDAP, Linux, SLES OES, Apache, Tomcat, Collaboration services, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, Postgress, WINS, Proxies, and MS 365 Cloud.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-level technical advice and support for the installation, testing, tuning, optimization, problem resolution, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of hardware and system software.
    • Administer and troubleshoot complex systems, including VMWare, e-directory, Active Directory, LDAP, Linux, SLES OES, Apache, Tomcat, Collaboration services, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, Postgress, WINS, Proxies, and MS 365 Cloud.
    • Plan, design, implement, and troubleshoot backup solutions.
    • Design and implement security policies and monitor their implementation.
    • Implement and support knowledge and experience with various disciplines and technologies, including MS Exchange Cloud, Storage management, email archive product/s, Spam, backup products, DNS services, Proxy services, VMWare, Microsoft Operating Systems, Inventory and software distribution Systems, WEB Services, Physical Security systems, FTP, Enterprise Hardware solutions, Service Management technologies, Directory services, Collaboration technologies, document management systems, Vibe, POP3, MailScanner/Gateway, Information Security, network printing technologies, and Networking.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree (NQF Level 7) or NQF 6 diploma in computer science/engineering, information technology, or related field.
    • Eight to ten years of experience and a proven track record in administering and troubleshooting complex systems, including VMWare, e-directory, Active Directory, LDAP, Linux, SLES OES, Apache, Tomcat, Collaboration services, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, Postgress, WINS, Proxies, and MS 365 Cloud.

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
