Minimum Requirement:


  • National Senior Certificate
  • Degree in Engineering
  • 1year relevant experience in a similar position within the Agri sector
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English / Afrikaans

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring general maintenance is performed such as valve maintenance, cleaning filters, cleaning air valves, repairing of pipe, flushing dripper lines and all water infrastructure components
  • Repairing of water infrastructure at ADHOC breakages
  • Maintaining and setting up footprint for record keeping (efiling) on current water infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plan on current water infrastructure
  • Implementing water plans and installation of new water systems
  • Stock controlling of pipes, fittings, and other related purchases. until general product store and store controlling officer position is filled and operational
  • Weekend Service on designated weekend.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new additions.
