Description

Senior Tailings Engineer

A senior professional in tailings engineering required to lead and execute projects.

About the Role:

7-10 years of experience in tailings engineering with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer and proficiency in soil mechanics and engineering contracts.
Experience in laboratory testing of soils and tailings materials, slope stability, seepage analysis, and FEM software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct geotechnical investigations using CPTu testing and interpretation.
Develop and implement effective strategies for managing tailings facilities.
Analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

Fluency in spoken English.
A valid driver's license and passport.
Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
