Description
Ensure stock accuracy when receiving, picking/packing and dispatching of goods.- Report any discrepancies with regards to inventory, safety and other anomalies.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are performed to the "Same day Principle"
- Inbound — Receiving of goods from suppliers, stock returns.
- Outbound dispatch of goods in accordance with delivery notes
- General — Bin maintenance, housekeeping, cycle and annual stock counts.
- Maintaining asset control of tool and equipment
- Must be able to monitor all tools and equipment for repairs
- Must be competent with Sage system
- Assist with perpetual counts and maintenance.
- Grade 12 / Relevant qualification
- Pastel Evolution Experience for 3 years
- Valid fork lift license (advantages)
- 35 Years warehouse and store man experience in the construction industries
- Working knowledge and understanding of Inventory
- Problem solving abilities
- Mechanical Background (advantages).
- Ability to repair small tools (advantages)
- Good communication skills.
