    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Sales:

    • Achieve set revenue targets and profit margins on a monthly basis.
    • Manage client relationships across all levels, with a focus on senior strategic individuals.
    • Create and transform lead generation platforms into qualified sales opportunities.
    • Engage external stakeholders with business development intent.
    • Identify business opportunities aligned with clients' core focus areas, prioritizing revenue growth.
    • Generate weekly client visitation reports and status updates.
    • Manage sales projects for specific product offerings.
    • Provide market summation reports through client visitations and offer feedback to the Head of Department: Hospitality.
    • Negotiate price elements with prospective clients.
    • Develop innovative sales platforms and techniques.
    • Manage client expectations to ensure retention.
    • Implement client retention strategies.
    • Expand existing client databases.
    • Manage internal relationships to deliver client expectations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality offerings and Suite information.
    • Generate sales for hospitality events and Suite Sales.
    • Follow up on leads, respond promptly to clients, and close sales.
    • Ensure timely payment from clients.
    • Meet monthly targets and deadlines for Suites and Hospitality.
    • Cold call to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.

    Customer Retention

    • Create and maintain a database of customers, keeping records up-to-date.
    • Manage existing clients, nurturing close relationships to monitor and manage their entertainment spend.
    • Source new clients, foster relationships, and manage them effectively.
    • Obtain feedback from customers to improve service and experience.
    • Buid relationships with key customers, understanding their needs to best accommodate them.

    Ad-Hoc Inventory Responsibilities

    • Host suites as required at various events.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Proficient in Excel, with good time management skills in a pressurized environment and numeric accuracy.
    • Effective communication skills with staff and customers at all levels.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Dynamic and results-driven individual.

    Education and Experience

    • Relevant Diploma or Degree.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of professional sales experience in a corporate environment.
    • Excel skills, good time management, and numeric accuracy.
    • Presentation skills, ability to create and present opportunities to clients.
    • BEE candidates will be given preference.

    Special Requirements

    • Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to work outside regular hours and weekends for events and client entertainment.
    • Demonstrable track record of delivering against set targets.
    • Demonstrable track record of selling sponsorship, broadcast, and advertising products.
    • Strong professional network.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interface with senior executives across various industries.
    • Results-driven environment with visible, measurable outcomes.
    • Sales/marketing background with a deep understanding of corporate buying behavior.
    • Sound entrepreneurial and management experience.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Knowledge of the sports industry and a strong corporate SA customer database.
