Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Installation and Commissioning of Smart Meters
- Programming / Downloading of Smart Meters
- Installation and Commissioning of Communication Hardware
- Fault finding
- Perform admin duties and technical reporting
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent School Qualification
- Tertiary Qualification: Qualified Electrician with relevant Trade Certificate (Red Seal)
- QCTO
NOT NEGOTIABLE:
Previous Smart Metering experience- NOT NEGOTIABLE:
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Attention to detail
- Valid Drivers License
- Own Transport and willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes
- Contactable References
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Computer Skills
- Proven Energy Metering / Smart Metering / Prepaid Metering experience
- Plumbing Experience will be advantageous
- Prepared to work Standby
Negotiable Salary on Offer
