Main purpose of the role:
The Trace Toca programming manager is primarily responsible for the management of Trace Toca channel (programming, schedule, editorial, on-air marketing and sales coordination) in compliance with the musical strategy determined by the management of the company.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Programming:
Manage the scheduling and programming requirements for Trace Toca
Identification and recovery of music video relevant to Trace Toca
Analyse and review clips send by artist via Wrike Artist Services Platform
Monitor and execute the schedules timely as per the Wrike Playlist Delivery Tasks
Review video submission dashboard regularly for newly received music videos
Execute the auto schedule for the channel
Compile monthly audit reports for channel
Participate in the channel projects and activities
Proactively update playlist on weekly basis via Wrike recurrent task
On-air marketing/marketing/audience:
Ensure autopromos, jingle and line-up briefs are aligned with the on-air marketing strategy of the channel
Check and verify the schedule for the on-air elements
Implementation and monitoring of obligations related to TV channel distribution agreements
Managing the performance of the channel and associated products with the support of Marketing
Strategically contribute to the social networks of the product
Roll out information and musical news feeds to the society website or programs
Editorial and sales coordination:
Review all shows and SEV
Collaborate with Trace 4 artist managers with regards to artist suggestions
Create and update the Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
Creation and development of antenna events in collaboration with Trace Studios and other clusters for commercialization
Manage the development and production of editorial content in collaboration with editorial and in-house production
Campaigns:
Manage and schedule the elements of various campaigns
Co-ordinate the adverting campaigns on Trace Toca
Assist the marketing team with recommendations for the go to market plan and on-going marketing activities for the channel
Hard skills:
Proficiency in computer software (Google suites, MS office and etc.)
Languages:
Fluently in English, Portuguese and French both oral and written
Excellent management of programming software
Soft skills:
Passionate about music
Excellent knowledge of Afro-Portuguese cultures and music
Good understanding for different types of audiences
Attentiveness to keep abreast with new developments in the market
Relational ease

Critical thinking
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing/business or any related field
2-5 years experience on channel/media management/entertainment
Two+ years' B2B and B2C experience
