    Key Responsibilities:

    • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy motor vehicles, including trucks and trailers, ensuring all legal and safety requirements are met.
    • Transport Duties: Deliver goods and materials to specified destinations as scheduled, maintaining timely and accurate delivery.
    • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after trips. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly.
    • Loading and Unloading: Ensure that goods are correctly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit. Assist with the loading and unloading process as needed.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any incidents or delays encountered during trips.
    • Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations, including road safety and environmental policies.
    • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any delivery-related issues or concerns professionally.
    • Documentation: Ensure all necessary delivery documents, including waybills and invoices, are completed accurately and submitted as required.

    Requirements:

    • Matric
    • Valid Code 14 driver's license and PdP
    • 6 + years of experience as a Code 14 Driver
    • Candidate must have basic knowledge and be able to hook and unhook trailers from and to a horse
    • Candidate must have strong attention to detail and safety
    • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Good communication and navigation skills
    • Physical ability to lift and move cargo (if required)
