GENERAL WORKER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CLEANING

  • Keep all Doves vehicles neat and clean.
  • Keep premises and gardens neat and clean.
  • Keep mats, machinery and other equipment clean.

GRAVE PREPARATION AND ASSISTANCE

  • Assist with the setup of the grave site i.e grave mats & machinery set up.
  • Where necessary, take all documentation for grave orders to the municipal cemetery.

EXECUTE GENERAL TASKS

  • Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Manager.
  • Assist with general office /yard duties as requested by the Manager.
  • Perform all work according to work orders and load and unload materials / coffins, etc. as per requirement.
  • Assist to move all materials from the storage area to designated work areas.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager and perform all general duties as required by same.

Minimum Requirements

  • Some high school qualification
  • Literate and numerate
  • Physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance
  • Able to concentrate on tasks.
  • Ability to understand and communicate

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Somerset West,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
