Description

A well-established company based in Centurion seeks an Operations Manager with a minimum of 3- 4 years' experience, within the operations, logistics and distribution environment.

Must have a good understanding of the supply chain from buying, selling and distribution.

Manage the branch warehouse and distribution function

Manage team with regards to productivity and time management

Manage the departments expenses and budget

Manage maintenance of distribution fleet

Ensure a smooth process of daily delivery requirements of customer orders

Manage stock control and inventory function

Customer Service

Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis

Leverage Excel reporting in order to control branch logístical functions

Take charge of the department's human capital issues

Ensure safe working practises in line with OHS Policy

Managing of logistics, administration, operations departments

Education & Experience:

Matric

Certificate / Diploma Logistics / Supply Chain

Minimum - 5 years sales
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Valid drivers license and own reliable transport

Technical knowledge of the day to day running

Operational experience from Checkers / Pick 'n Pay / Spar will be adv.

Skills:

Display understanding of how the business operates

Capacity to manage people dynamics

Ability to coach employees to work more efficiently

Attention to detail

Ability to, work with and, be part of a team

Good understanding of expense management and control

Ability to plan and multi-task

Salary:
R24, R25,000.00 per month
