The IIE's Varsity College, Sandton Campus has vacancies for Lecturers )Independent Contractor) in the School of Education for the following:
Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching and, Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching.

Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL)
English Home and First Additional Language (HL and FAL)
Mathematics (Foundation Phase)
Child Development
Inclusive Education

Competencies Required:

Communication Skills
Organisational Skills
Effective Classroom Management
Open to Development

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

A minimum of a
4year BEd degree (either in Foundation Phase OR Intermediate Phase Teaching), plus an Honours (
BEd Hons).
OR
Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR
Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8).
The
Undergraduate Qualification OR the
Honours OR The
Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (
NQF 8), must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).
Training & Development: 3 years (required).
Teaching: 3 years (required)

Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
