    Description

    Vice President – International Private Equity

    An exceptional opportunity has emerged to join a leading global private equity investment team as a Vice President, offering exposure to a seasoned alternatives platform that consistently outperforms industry benchmarks.

    The investment team focuses on primary, co-investment, and secondary private equity opportunities across the USA, Europe, and Asia, with a strong track record in buyouts, growth equity, and venture capital investments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Investment Evaluation and Execution: Assess co-investment opportunities through financial modelling, due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis. Structure and negotiate co-investment terms in collaboration with lead private equity sponsors. Present investment recommendations to internal committees and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate transaction execution.
    2. Fund Commitments: Evaluate private equity fund opportunities by analyzing investment strategies, track records, and management teams. Develop assessments of fund managers, reviewing historical performance and value creation. Identify attractive fund investment opportunities and monitor industry trends. Oversee co-investments and fund commitments, providing insights to senior management and stakeholders.
    3. Relationship Management and Market Engagement: Build relationships with private equity fund managers, advisors, and industry leaders. Represent the firm at key industry events and stay informed on market trends to contribute to broader investment strategies.

    Key Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
    2. An MBA or CFA is advantageous.
    3. A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or principal investing, with a focus on transaction analysis, fund evaluation, or portfolio management.
    4. Proven international investment experience across multiple regions.
    5. Strong financial modelling, due diligence, and analytical skills.
    6. Deep understanding of private equity fund structures, investment strategies, and co-investment processes.
    7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
    8. A collaborative professional with a strategic mindset and project management skills.
