    Description

    Job Title: Experienced Accountant

    We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team at {company}. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and experience with financial systems.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA preferable
    • At least 10 years of experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in relevant software
    • Previous experience with Xero is essential
    • Computer literate and able to learn new software quickly
    • Previous experience in manufacturing or packhouse environment is advantageous
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
    • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement and maintain robust financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including stock control systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and legal reporting requirements

    Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
