Responsibilities_

- _Contribute to the implementation of Business and Finance strategy within the South Africa and Africa businesses_
- _Drive the implementation and maintenance of a suitable level of financial control in the finance operations environment for South Africa and Africa businesses_
- _Ensure the delivery of an effective Management reporting process providing timely, accurate and appropriate business financial information_
- _Verify the accuracy of, and sign off statutory and tax packs for all entities within South Africa and within Africa and ensure all outstanding queries are suitably resolved_
- _Motivation and leadership of the overall team of total of 30 staff and Leading a direct reporting team of 3_
- _Coaching and mentoring and Succession planning_

Qualifications_
Minimum qualifications_

- _Proficiency in English_
- _Qualified CA (SA) or qualified CIMA qualification_
- _Relevant work experience in roles within finance Previous experience in leading a team of a similar size_
- _Make good judgements_
- _Promote a customer / employee focused environment_
- _Optimise execution & results_

Preferred qualifications_

- _Advocate planning and continuous improvement_
- _Encourage dedication and Promote ethics and compliance_
- _Demonstrate flexibility_
