Our Client, a well-established QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) company is recruiting for an experienced Administrator / HR Admin to to join their team.


Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide an effective Administration service in an efficient, professional, and effective manner.

To also support the HR Manager within the team, supporting with areas of responsibility for administration and provide flexibility to enable the HR department to cope with workloads to maintain a smooth-running department.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric)

Tertiary education in related field (Advantageous)

Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role with applied practical experience in HR Administration

Experience or understanding of various HR Systems (advantageous)

Typing speed (Min. 45 WPM)

Well versed in English (Read, Write and Speak)

South African Citizen

Own reliable transport

Clear Criminal Record

Able to work from the office


Key Responsibilities:

To assist in being a "go to" person on administrative queries

To provide an effective Human Resources administration service relating to the employment lifecycle

To ensure accurate HR records on all employees including full-time, part-time employees

To provide HR reports as required and be a contact for HR-related queries

Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment etc

Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with the company policies and procedures and applicable legislation

To ensure that all staff members are aware of the Human Resources policies, procedures regulations and processes and any changes thereto

Assist with training and development initiatives for employees including Induction

Any other HR, Training and Health and Safety related administration as delegated to you

Employee Benefits Administration, maternity leave and exit interviews

Escalate issues of concern to the Snr HR /HR Manager

Take minutes of meetings when required
